This bulb lasts a very long time and gives out good light while I do my up close beading work or reading.
Feel like a sucker in buying the replacement light bulb for the lamp that had the issue. I thought the light bulb had burnt out, apparently I was wrong according to the reviews of the lamp itself.
I had bought the OttLite W9437T Easy View 18-Watt Floor Lamp with 3x Optical-Grade Magnifier, Dove Grey from Jo-anns for my mother. Had to return it because it stopped working after a week. Jo-ann's replaced it with out to much problem. The 2nd one worked for about 8 months, mother said the light bulb burnt out.
Year later, I wasn't able to replace the bulb until recently, because of having a micro-preemie in the hospital so replacing this bulb wasn't a priority. (thought it was just the Light bulb) Light bulb did not work when replacing it.
So I looked at the reviews here on Amazon to see if others had similar issues and to see if there was a fix. This lamp got poor reviews and no solutions to resolve these issues.
